Quality Assurance Program

At AH we are especially cognizant that our continued business success depends, in large measure, on our ability to provide quality service to our clients. Quality is embedded into our people, processes and policies. Our outstanding ACASS ratings are a reflection of the quality of our work. For each task order a tailored Quality Control Plan is developed and implemented based on what quality standards are relevant to the project. The plan established procedures for evaluating overall project performance on a regular basis and monitoring project results to ensure they meet relevant quality standards and identify ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance.

The AH Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager assists the Project Manager develop the Quality Control Plan, and assigns a QA/QC team for each project. QA/QC Team members are staff not generally involved in executing the project, but who will review the project at several milestones, in essence providing a ôsecond pair of eyes." The QA/QC Team checks assumptions, shares experiences, offers suggestions and encourages innovative problem solving to ensure that technically accurate study results, recommendations, and plans are obtained. Time for quality reviews are built into the project schedule. The QA/QC Team members are involved throughout each project to keep projects on track from the beginning. They monitor the project at key points in the project lifecycle including during the project planning stages, at monthly project status meetings and by reviewing draft and final deliverables.

Each task order deliverable is reviewed by a technical editor whose main goal is to ensure that the deliverable is clearly written, consistent throughout, and is grammatically and punctually correct. The final document is assembled and reviewed for printing and assembly errors.
